Process improvement and operational optimization anchor this Planning Technician role supporting structural steel fabrication and manufacturing performance.
You will contribute to improving work methods, workflows, and processes while supporting large-scale structural steel projects. The role includes identifying bottlenecks, reducing costs, increasing productivity, and supporting tools, technologies, quality standards, and key performance indicators. It requires an Industrial Engineering Technology diploma, strong analysis, and Excel proficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify production bottlenecks and recommend improvements
Improve work methods, workflows, and processes
Support cost reduction and productivity initiatives
Monitor quality standards and key performance indicators
Support new manufacturing tools and technologies
Requirements:
College Diploma in Industrial Engineering Technology or related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Interest in continuous improvement and process optimization
Strong organizational skills and proactive mindset
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
