Analyze US residential portfolios at Starlight using financial reporting and accounting skills while supporting debt management and investor reporting activities.
Reporting to the Controller, Finance, this Financial Analyst supports portfolios owned by Starlight and institutional investors. You will prepare reporting schedules, reconcile accounting information, analyze variances, and partner with asset management and investments teams. The position also supports property financing, acquisitions, dispositions, refinancing accounting, and lender reporting.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual portfolio reporting schedules
Reconcile financial reporting information to accounting records
Support month-end close, accruals, and journal entries
Analyze portfolio variances and summarize financial results
Maintain loan information and reconcile interest postings
Requirements:

One or more years of accounting or financial reporting experience
University degree in accounting, finance, business, or information technology
Working knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
Moderate Microsoft Excel skills; ERP or Yardi experience advantageous
Strong communication, organization, prioritization, and interpersonal skills
Apply financial reporting, portfolio analysis, Excel, and debt management skills supporting Starlight’s US residential real estate operations.
