Provide clinical nursing care in Winnipeg’s Labour Delivery Recovery unit, using recent labour, delivery, or recovery experience. This position is in person.
The Registered Nurse (N2) supports Labour Delivery Recovery within the Winnipeg Health Region. Recent Labour, Delivery, Recovery nursing or one year of combined mother-baby care experience is required. Recent Operating Room experience and AORN Periop 101 training are preferred.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide nursing care within Labour Delivery Recovery
Apply the documented Regulated Health Professions Act scope
Complete Neonatal Resuscitation Program training as scheduled
Complete AORN Periop 101 training when required
Participate in skills assessment when requested
Requirements:

Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba
Recent Labour, Delivery, Recovery nursing experience
One year combined mother-baby care experience accepted
English and French bilingual communication proficiency
Availability for evening and weekend work
Use clinical nursing experience, bilingual communication, and Labour Delivery Recovery expertise at St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg.
