Junior Environmental Scientist Engineer

Environmental fieldwork and data analysis define this full-time Arcadis opportunity in the Greater Toronto Area, with approximately 70% Ontario travel required. Support remediation projects while building consulting experience.
As a Junior Environmental Scientist/Engineer, you will support Arcadis’ Resilience team on environmental and remediation projects. The work includes site investigations, soil and groundwater sampling, field documentation, contractor oversight, and report preparation. You will also assist with remediation and treatment system monitoring and operation.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct environmental and geotechnical site investigations
Collect field data, soil samples, and groundwater samples
Prepare field logs, safety forms, and daily reports
Interpret data and compare results with applicable standards
Compile environmental and geotechnical reports
Requirements:
Technical diploma or bachelor’s degree in a related field
Two or more years of related experience
Understanding of soil, groundwater, and vapour sampling protocols
Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle access
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
