As Manager, Recruitment - Field Operations, you will lead recruitment initiatives and mentor coordinators and recruiters. You will improve attraction, selection, and onboarding practices while partnering with Talent Operations. The position focuses on operational hiring needs, recruitment metrics, and structured interviewing support.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive end-to-end recruitment for field operations across Canada
Mentor recruitment staff and maximize team potential
Refine recruitment workflows, tools, and ATS processes
Forecast hiring needs with department and field managers
Ensure compliance with Canadian labor laws and regulations
Requirements:
Five or more years managing senior-level recruitment
High-volume, field, or industrial hiring experience
Experience leading coordinators and senior recruiters
Advanced ATS expertise, including hands-on Workday experience
Willingness to travel 30% across Canada
Bring field recruitment leadership, Workday expertise, and compliance knowledge to strengthen GFL Environmental’s Canadian hiring operations.
