Accounting Technician QBO Xero

Build client-focused accounting services with QBO, Xero, and reconciliation skills as an Accounting Technician working remotely for MNP. Burlington, Ontario location listed.
MNP’s ease Cloud Accounting Services team delivers bookkeeping and financial reporting support to clients. This full-time Accounting Technician position covers payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, and related filings. Experience with QBO or Xero is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up client files and support budgets and planning
Record sales, receivables, expenses, payables, and payroll
Reconcile cash, bank, prepaid, and intercompany accounts
Maintain WCB transactions and government remittances
Work collaboratively with clients and team members
Requirements:
One year of full cycle bookkeeping experience
Working knowledge of basic accounting processes
Understanding of GST, PST, HST, payroll, and corporate taxes
QBO or Xero application certifications considered an asset
Desktop bookkeeping software experience beneficial
