Deliver pediatric infectious diseases expertise in Saskatoon through inpatient and outpatient care, academic service, and teaching at Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital.
Saskatchewan Health Authority and the University of Saskatchewan seek a full time Pediatric Infectious Diseases specialist. The appointment combines clinical and academic service delivery, with affiliation through the Department of Pediatrics. Practice includes inpatient and outpatient services at JPCH, plus undergraduate, postgraduate, bedside, small group, and formal didactic teaching.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide inpatient pediatric infectious diseases services at JPCH
Provide outpatient pediatric infectious diseases services at JPCH
Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate teaching
Conduct bedside, small group, and formal didactic teaching
Develop niche practice areas based on interest
Requirements:
Royal College certification or eligibility in Pediatric Infectious Disease
Regular CPSS license or eligibility for licensure
Additional immunology training or interest considered an asset
Valid driver’s license
SHA credentialing, CMPA coverage, and required checks
