NorthTek Rescue Inc.
Leduc County is recruiting paid on-call firefighters for its Nisku, New Sarepta, Calmar, Thorsby and Warburg stations. Successful applicants complete a 14-week, 120-hour recruit course before receiving a casual offer and starting a one-year probation.
Pay:
Minimum 2 hours pay per emergency call and minimum 3 hours pay per weekly training/maintenance night; recruit course unpaid (rates in county compensation document)

Key requirements:
At least 18 years old
Live or work within 19 km of a Leduc County fire station
Valid driver's licence and own transportation
Vulnerable sector criminal record check
Driver's abstract with seven or fewer demerits
Meet physical agility requirements and attend weekly evening training
