Keep Kano’s live games reliable through AWS, Docker, and infrastructure automation in a remote-first role for British Columbia residents.
As an intermediate engineer, you will improve the cloud systems behind Kano’s long-running games. Your work spans EC2, ECS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, S3, Terraform, Chef, Ansible, and deployment pipelines. You will also support upgrades, migrations, monitoring, and on-call responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:

Improve EC2, ECS, Lambda, and VPC infrastructure
Support Docker services and deployment pipelines
Complete upgrades, patching, and managed-service migrations
Maintain CloudWatch, InfluxDB, Grafana, and Graylog
Participate in incident reviews and on-call rotation
Requirements:

Three-plus years in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering
AWS fundamentals across compute, networking, IAM, and monitoring
Infrastructure-as-code and Bash, Python, or Ruby scripting
Production Docker and database operations experience
Testing, review, escalation, and operational judgment
Bring AWS, Docker, Terraform, and reliability expertise to the infrastructure serving Kano’s live gaming communities.
