Regulated Pharmacy Technician Dispensing

Support prescription dispensing and pharmacy services as a Regulated Pharmacy Technician, delivering timely customer service in a Shoppers Drug Mart store.
This position assists with technical dispensing functions, prescription preparation, and pharmacy operations. You will support customer service, prescription workflow, third-party adjudication, and administrative processes. The role follows Pharmacy Standards of Practice, Standard Operating Procedures, and confidentiality requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Gather prescription information according to required standards
Accurately dispense, count, measure, package, and label medications
Process third-party billing and adjudication when required
Refer clinical inquiries and counseling needs to pharmacists
Maintain dispensary cash registers and documentation
Requirements:
Registration with the corresponding provincial licensing college
Diploma from a Pharmacy Technician College
Previous pharmacy experience preferred
Effective organizational skills and multitasking ability
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
