Registered Practical Nurses provide professional resident care at AgeCare Gibson in Willowdale, Ontario, coordinating nursing communication and Personal Support Worker direction.
This part time RPN position supports residents through geriatric, rehabilitation, or long term care nursing. You will collaborate with Registered Nurses, physicians, healthcare partners, and other care team members. The work includes applying AgeCare policies and communicating significant resident status changes.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide professional nursing care to residents
Direct Personal Support Workers on the care team
Notify physicians about significant resident status changes
Participate in healthcare team shift reports
Collaborate with physicians and external healthcare partners
Requirements:
Current College of Nurses of Ontario Certificate of Competence
Membership in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
Knowledge of geriatric, rehabilitation, or long term care nursing
Knowledge of applicable nursing home legislation and standards
Background in activation, nursing, and personnel administration
Support resident care at AgeCare Gibson through professional nursing, clinical communication, and Personal Support Worker direction.
