Registered Psychiatric Nurse Mental Health

Provide psychiatric nursing care in person at Shared Health’s Selkirk Mental Health Centre, supporting patients with complex, unpredictable needs.
As a Registered Psychiatric Nurse or Registered Nurse, you will deliver professional nursing services within the Nursing Float Pool. The position includes independent care, prescribed treatments, healthcare team leadership, and patient-care coordination. Recent related mental health experience is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide professional registered nursing services to patients
Administer prescribed medical treatments independently
Lead within the healthcare team
Coordinate patient care and discharge
Prioritize care amid simultaneous demands
Requirements:
Graduate of an approved psychiatric or registered nursing program
Active CRPNM or CRNM registration and proof
Recent related mental health experience preferred
Effective oral and written communication skills
Current CPR training according to policy
