Senior Machine Learning Data Scientist

Advance machine learning and artificial intelligence as a Senior Data Scientist at BDO Canada, working from anywhere in Canada within a blended model.
In this existing senior role, you will collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets for data-driven decisions. You will collaborate across teams and service lines to develop, enhance, and implement predictive models, generative artificial intelligence, and AI Agent solutions. Your work supports actionable insights, productivity gains, and revenue gains.
Key Responsibilities:
Collect, clean, and transform large complex datasets
Build machine learning models and natural language processing systems
Develop specialized language models using TensorFlow and PyTorch
Train, evaluate, and optimize models for accuracy and explainability
Monitor production models and data pipelines for reliability
Requirements:
Master’s or Ph.D. in a quantitative field
Five or more years building production machine learning models
Expertise with Pandas, matplotlib, NumPy, and Scikit-Learn
Programming proficiency in Python, R, or Scala
Experience with SQL, NoSQL, Git, and cloud platforms
Bring machine learning, natural language processing, and data communication expertise to BDO Canada’s senior data science practice.
