Cross Dock Operations Coordinator
GLS US GROUP
Coordinate inbound freight processing for GLS US while directing dock activity, pallet quality, and warehouse changes across daily operations.
The Cross Dock Operations Coordinator works with Depot Managers and Supervisors to keep inbound freight moving. This role oversees leads and warehouse personnel during offloading, processing, sorting, palletizing, and loading. Communication, organization, and attention to detail support timely arrivals and accurate shipments.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate receiving and processing of all inbound freight
Direct personnel through offloading, sorting, palletizing, and loading
Inspect pallet quality to reduce damages and misroutes
Assign dock doors and estimate inbound shipment volumes
Assist with training and reviewing procedures with staff
Requirements:
High school diploma, GED, or related experience and training
Ability to lift 75 pounds
Detail oriented, organized, and strong communication skills
Willingness to follow instructions and accept supervision
Forklift, pallet truck, or pallet jack experience preferred
Bring organized freight coordination, clear communication, and warehouse leadership to GLS US inbound cross dock operations.
