Network Infrastructure Operations Manager

Manage Waymo’s network infrastructure operations through ITIL governance, high-severity response, and deployment oversight. The position includes 20% travel for site and operations support.
This Network Infrastructure Operations Manager leads the lifecycle of technology infrastructure services and critical production environments. Responsibilities span incident, change, event, configuration, and asset management, alongside firewalls, switches, access points, and UPS. The role also supports network event correlation, engineering design validation, and reliable service levels.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee infrastructure service lifecycles and performance indicators
Lead Tier 2 and Tier 3 incident remediation efforts
Review site-specific Engineering Design Plans and network events
Support secure deployment, maintenance, and infrastructure upgrades
Establish continuous process improvement and repeatable service levels
Requirements:
Seven or more years of network operations or engineering experience
Management or team lead experience of two or more years
Experience delivering strategic networks requiring high availability
Knowledge of network devices through CLI and cloud portals
Experience creating runbooks and configuration management standards
Bring infrastructure governance, incident ownership, deployment support, and network engineering knowledge to Waymo’s WINS team.
