Director Financial Consolidation Operations

Lead monthly close and consolidation at Gildan, applying IFRS expertise and financial reporting leadership across global manufacturing operations.
Reporting to the Principal Accounting Officer, this Director leads corporate finance and accounting processes for operations, supply chain, and cost of sales. The position provides guidance to divisional finance teams, supports external audits, and advances financial reporting systems. You will also manage vendor relationships and financial operations projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead monthly financial close and consolidation processes
Direct operations, supply chain, and cost accounting processes
Review monthly results, adjustments, reconciliations, and inventory costing
Support audits, financial statements, MD&A, and earnings releases
Approve ERP chart of accounts and structure changes
Requirements:
University degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
CPA designation and strong IFRS knowledge
At least 15 years accounting, reporting, and consolidation experience
At least 10 years progressive people leadership experience
Experience with multinational manufacturing and publicly traded companies
Bring consolidation, IFRS, systems, and executive reporting expertise to Gildan’s global financial operations leadership team.
