Personal Support Workers provide resident care at AgeCare, using care plans, observation, documentation, and bedside techniques to support daily needs.
This PSW position supports residents while helping maintain a safe and secure environment. You will monitor care against established plans, report findings, document information, and follow IPAC policies. The role also includes attending education sessions, meetings, and workshops, plus assisting with new staff onboarding as directed.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide resident care according to established care plans
Observe residents and report findings to supervisors
Document resident care information as directed
Follow infection prevention and control policies
Assist with new staff onboarding as directed
Requirements:
Personal Support Worker certificate or diploma graduate
Meet Ministry of Training vocational standards
Meet National Association of Career Colleges standards
Understand simple treatments and bedside care techniques
Know sanitation, cleaning, and geriatric resident needs
Bring resident care, documentation, observation, and infection prevention knowledge to AgeCare’s Personal Support Worker team.
