Desktop Publisher needed for remote work from Toronto, producing polished business documents through layout, typography, and quality control. The afternoon schedule is firm.
This 12-month contract suits professionals with 2 to 4 years in desktop publishing, document formatting, or production design. You will create reports, presentations, brochures, manuals, proposals, newsletters, and corporate materials. Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Illustrator, and Photoshop support the work.
Key Responsibilities:
Format and produce varied corporate documents and visual materials
Apply branding, layout, typography, and design standards consistently
Edit text, tables, charts, and graphics for clarity
Prepare accurate print-ready and digital-ready files
Maintain templates, style guides, and asset libraries
Requirements:
Two to four years of relevant publishing or production experience
Strong Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Suite experience
Experience with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
Understanding of layout design, typography, and page composition
Excellent proofreading, formatting, and quality control skills
Apply desktop publishing, document production, and typography expertise while supporting accurate deliverables on the Toronto-based afternoon schedule.
