Part Time Personal Support Worker

Provide direct personal support as a part time PSW, HCA, or CCA, assisting patients with daily care while working 32.50 hours bi-weekly.
At Extendicare, this position supports patients’ physical, intellectual, emotional, social, and spiritual needs. You will assist with ambulation, feeding, bathing, and grooming while following policies, procedures, work routines, and nursing care plans. The position requires clear communication with staff, residents, patients, and families.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct personal support and care to patients
Assist patients with ambulation, feeding, bathing, and grooming
Follow policies, procedures, and established work routines
Support physical, intellectual, emotional, social, and spiritual needs
Follow nursing care plans during assigned care
Requirements:
Completed PSW program or HCA/CCA certification meeting required standards
Knowledge of care planning systems and documentation
Positive communication with staff, residents, patients, and families
Ability to read and write English and understand instructions
Long term care or community home care experience preferred
Bring personal care, documentation, communication, and patient support skills to Extendicare’s part time PSW, HCA, or CCA position.
