Health Care Aide Resident Care

Provide resident care as a Health Care Aide, using safe basic care skills and collaborating with the care team under nursing supervision.
At AgeCare, this Health Care Aide role supports residents with personal care, transfers, meals, mobility, and daily activities. You will follow care plans, apply appropriate equipment and protective controls, and provide treatments under Staff Nurse direction. The position serves residents in a home-like care environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Bath, shower, and wash residents using water temperature procedures
Assist transfers using ceiling lifts, mechanical lifts, and belts
Feed residents and follow care-plan diet instructions
Provide routine treatments under Staff Nurse direction
Accompany residents to meals, therapy, and recreation
Requirements:
Recognized Personal Care Aide or equivalent education certificate
Active College registration as required for Health Care Aides
Fluent English communication, orally and in writing
One year continuing care experience preferred
Post-secondary education is an asset
