Support participant care as a Health Care Aide at Misericordia Health Centre in Winnipeg, working in person during evenings and weekends. Use compassion, patience, and teamwork daily.
Working in Cornish 2, you will assist participants and provide basic supportive care as directed. The position contributes to an interdisciplinary team and follows health and safety policies. Knowledge of personal, rehabilitation, dementia, and chronic care principles supports participant-centred service.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist participants with basic supportive care
Follow established health and safety procedures
Use personal protective equipment according to safe work procedures
Organize and prioritize assigned workload
Participate effectively within an interdisciplinary team
Requirements:

Grade 12 or equivalent completion
Health Care Aide Certificate from a recognized institution
CPR training meeting employer policy requirements
Recent Health Care Aide experience preferred
Experience with older adults preferred
Bring participant-centred care, supportive assistance, and collaborative communication to the Health Care Aide team at Misericordia Health Centre.
