Operating Room Unit Aide
Humber River Health
Support Operating Room supply readiness as a Unit Aide at Humber River Health’s Wilson Site on permanent part time rotating shifts.
This Unit Aide works with the Operating Room Team at Hennick Humber Hospital. The position supports sterile and unsterile supply inventory, linen handling, patient wayfinding, and equipment reporting. Humber River Health operates a fully digital hospital serving the northwest Greater Toronto Area.
Key Responsibilities:
Stock Operating Room areas and supply carts
Maintain sterile and unsterile supply inventories
Collect urgent supplies, medications, and equipment
Transport linen, supplies, specimens, and medical materials
Guide patients and report equipment issues
Requirements:
Grade 12 education or equivalent
Two years of recent hospital supply experience
Medical Device Reprocessing certificate required
Working knowledge of medical supplies
Ability to repeatedly lift 25 to 30 pounds
Bring hospital supply experience, inventory knowledge, and patient support skills to Humber River Health’s Operating Room Team.
