Financial Accounting Officer Montreal

Analyze financial data as a Financial Accounting Officer with CBC/Radio-Canada in Montreal. This hybrid role requires accounting, reporting, and bilingual communication skills.
Reporting to the Manager, Budgeting and Internal Reporting, you will support French Services inventory and programming finance. You will research operational data, process confidential information, and evaluate requests against corporate policies. The position also supports contract and rights management through administrative coordination and financial interpretation.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze financial and operational data for departmental decisions
Process confidential accounting and administrative information
Follow up with producers on contracts and payment milestones
Release confirmed disbursements and prepare monthly financial reports
Generate broadcast data reports and collaborate with finance teams
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree and one year relevant experience, or equivalent qualifications
Two years producing reports, analyses, and spreadsheets
Strong prioritization, organization, and time-management skills
Microsoft Office and Google Workspace proficiency
Spoken and written French; English proficiency is an asset
