Apparel Product Design Assistant
Q for Quinn
Shape thoughtful apparel products at Q for Quinn through technical design, patternmaking, and hands-on product development from concept onward.
As a Product Design Assistant, you will work closely with the founder and lead designer. You will translate creative direction into functional designs, create production-ready tech packs, and support products through final production. The work connects design, technical execution, and brand storytelling.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist product development from initial concept through production
Translate creative direction into functional, tangible designs
Create tech packs with measurements, materials, and construction details
Coordinate with patternmakers and manufacturers on fit and quality
Iterate designs through fittings and wear testing feedback
Requirements:
One to three years’ similar product design experience
Technical knowledge of garment construction and production processes
Experience with patternmaking, fit, and form
Ability to create clear, detailed production-ready tech packs
Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
Bring technical apparel knowledge, careful craftsmanship, and product development skills to Q for Quinn’s purposeful designs.
