Senior Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Lead mechanical maintenance and engineering solutions at SA Metal Group, combining industrial machinery design with hands-on equipment repair across departments.
This Senior Engineer role provides routine maintenance and repair services while leading and managing the Engineering Team. It covers project management, engineering quality control, mechanical design, manufacturing drawings, and planned maintenance. The position also supports production efficiency, preventive maintenance, and equipment reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead engineers and manage engineering team activities
Oversee mechanical designs, layouts, and manufacturing drawings
Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and facilitate repairs
Drive preventive and predictive maintenance across departments
Compile failure and maintenance task reports
Requirements:
BSc, B.Eng., or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
Five to ten years’ maintenance or production experience
Computer-aided engineering design and drawing competency
Proven project management and leadership experience
Experience with computerized maintenance management systems
