Senior Data Platform Software Engineer

Build data platforms and AI capabilities as a Senior Software Engineer at lululemon, working onsite at least four days weekly. Apply distributed systems and APIs.
This senior position supports lululemon’s Enterprise Data & AI team. You will design enterprise solutions across logical and semantic data, AI and LLM retrieval, distributed systems, and APIs. Your work enables product teams through trusted data foundations, knowledge models, and responsible AI practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and build data systems and AI-enabled platform capabilities
Evolve semantic models, taxonomies, ontologies, and knowledge graphs
Build RAG, GraphRAG, semantic search, and evidence-based reasoning systems
Lead complex implementations spanning multiple services
Establish coding, testing, deployment, and review standards
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a technical field
Six to ten years developing complex software systems
Experience driving technical initiatives across multiple teams
Familiarity with search, recommender, and hybrid retrieval architectures
Authorization to work in Canada
Bring senior software engineering expertise across data platforms, AI retrieval, semantic modeling, and distributed systems to lululemon.
