Senior Defence Infrastructure Director
WSP Global Inc.
Lead complex defence infrastructure delivery with WSP in Edmonton or Victoria, directing multidisciplinary teams and national public-sector projects.
As Senior Project Director, Defence Infrastructure, you will oversee projects across military bases, shipyards, aircraft hangars, and related facilities. Your leadership will span planning, procurement, design, construction, commissioning, and closeout. You will guide project governance, client relationships, and delivery outcomes across controlled-access environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end delivery of defence and federal infrastructure projects
Establish schedules, budgets, resource plans, quality controls, and risk strategies
Direct architecture, engineering, security, and project controls disciplines
Serve as primary client interface and delivery accountability point
Coordinate Defence Construction Canada, contractors, regulators, and stakeholders
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related discipline
Minimum 12 years of progressive project delivery experience
At least five years delivering defence or federal infrastructure projects
Experience managing complex capital projects valued at $25 million or greater
Ability to obtain and maintain required federal security clearance
Direct WSP's national defence infrastructure portfolio through strategic leadership, governance, client relationships, and multidisciplinary project delivery.
