Job opportunity
Full-Stack Engineer (AI Platform)
Thumbtack
This engineer owns the product surface that turns agent capability into something teams will actually rely on for business-critical work — and the services behind it
Design and build the interfaces business teams use to configure agents, review their work, approve or correct actions, and understand what happened and why
Build observability and evaluation tooling that makes agent behavior legible — where it succeeded, where it failed, and whether a change made things better
Work across the stack, from React and TypeScript through service code and data models, owning features end to end through build, test, launch, and iteration
Partner directly with the business teams who use what you build; translate ambiguous operational problems into working software
Own the full lifecycle of your work, including monitoring and post-launch improvement
Benefits
Parental leave
Health insurance

Wellness is a way of life | We promote balance with generous PTO and company-wide holidays — and find our centers every Wellness Wednesday with yoga featuring a Thumbtack pro
A worthy mission | In a world where tech is often seen as eroding good jobs, we’re helping small business owners thrive. Our product makes entrepreneurship accessible to everyone
Driven by our values | Our values are the compass by which we make all our decisions. Each one matters: Lead with why, Make it count, Own it, Choose teamwork, and Say what you mean
