Retail Business Analysis Team Manager
The North West Company
Lead retail-focused Business Analysis at The North West Company in Winnipeg, supporting communities served across Northern and Western Canada. Develop people and improve analysis practices.
This manager leads staff and contract Business Analysts while bringing retail, distribution, or inventory knowledge to technology initiatives. You will foster accountability, standardize methods, and ensure requirements, process maps, and user stories remain consistent. The work also includes risk, compliance, audits, and operational improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop team capability through coaching and performance management
Foster collaborative, inclusive, high-accountability team culture
Act as a hands-on Business Analyst when required
Drive process improvement and operational efficiency
Maintain governance, risk, compliance, and audit support
Requirements:
Minimum five years of Business or Systems Analysis experience
Retail, Distribution, or Inventory Management background
Strong Windows-based computer application proficiency
Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
Business Process Modeling Notation experience considered an asset
