The position connects investment strategies, business developments, acquisitions, regulatory expectations, and Board requests. Key Responsibilities:
Lead initiatives related to current and emerging financial risks
Assess proposed acquisitions and evolving business strategies
Communicate technical concepts through executive materials
Monitor external developments for material risk-profile shifts
Coach junior coworkers and manage projects to deadlines
Requirements:
Financial institution experience, especially insurance or banking
Keen attention to detail and strong analytical ability
Ability to manage projects and concurrent responsibilities
Confidence presenting technical concepts to varied audiences
Knowledge of investments, ALM, and life insurance is an asset
