Support children and youth with behavioral challenges as a Child and Youth Care Worker in a group home setting. Part-time and casual shifts are available.
This position provides care 24 hours, seven days weekly, supporting social, mental, physical, cultural, and spiritual needs. You will participate in home and community-based activities while addressing moderate to severe behavioral problems. On-the-job training and support are provided.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide care in a group home setting
Support children and youth across daily living areas
Participate in home and community-based activities
Develop and implement recreational and life skills programs
Support community access and awareness activities
Requirements:

Child and Youth Care Worker Diploma preferred
Related human or social service education is an asset
Valid Emergency First Aid Certificate with CPR
Valid Class 5 BC driver's license
Food Safe Certificate and effective communication skills
Bring judgment, creativity, teamwork, and respectful communication to child and youth care across varied group home shifts.
