Indirect Category Manager Strategic Sourcing
IPEX Management Inc.
Lead indirect category sourcing for IPEX from Oakville, Ontario, using supplier strategy, negotiation, and market intelligence in a hybrid role.
As Category Manager – Indirect, you will develop sourcing strategies for components, finished goods, and resale products across North America. You will align regional initiatives with global procurement objectives while supporting cost savings, cash flow, and supply chain performance. The position reports to the Director, Strategic Sourcing.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop category strategies and lead supplier selection activities
Negotiate contracts and manage strategic supplier relationships
Analyze markets, trends, pricing, performance, and supply risks
Align procurement initiatives with cross-functional business priorities
Drive savings, compliance, and working capital objectives
Requirements:
College or university education in Supply Chain Management
Certified Supply Chain Management Professional designation welcomed
At least seven years of progressive procurement experience
Five years in category management or strategic sourcing
ERP, Excel, negotiation, analytical, and influencing skills
Bring strategic sourcing, supplier negotiation, and category management expertise to IPEX’s North American procurement organization.
