M&E Field Operations Superintendent
Scott Construction Group
Drive M&E field operations for Scott’s complex construction portfolio from Burnaby or Toronto. Lead trades, documentation, schedules, and quality delivery.
As Superintendent, M&E, you will collaborate with project management and field teams while reporting to the Director, Field Operations. Your responsibilities span subcontractor coordination, personnel mentoring, inspections, schedule maintenance, equipment submittals, and RFI responses. Success requires construction expertise, integrity, communication, and the ability to translate technical information for non-technical individuals.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise, mentor, coach, and train project personnel
Organize weekly meetings with M&E subcontractors
Coordinate trades to protect critical path activities
Manage equipment and material submittal logs
Conduct inspections and maintain required field records
Requirements:
Five to ten years of relevant M&E experience
Technical diploma or equivalent technical training and experience
Thorough knowledge of construction methods and requirements
Strong client, trade, consultant, and team relationships
Basic Microsoft Office knowledge; Procore is an asset
