CNC Manufacturing Operations Manager

CNC manufacturing leadership meets daily operational oversight in the Greater Vancouver Area. Guide shop personnel, programmers, and production priorities onsite.
This experienced Operations Manager reports to the President at a busy industrial manufacturing facility. The role coordinates engineering and programming with shop requirements, while improving machining methods, setup practices, tooling, and fixtures. It also supports Lean and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Direct, coach, and provide feedback to shop personnel
Coordinate engineering and programming with production requirements
Oversee machining methods, setups, tooling, and fixture improvements
Maintain workplace safety through training and hazard correction
Track delivery, lead time, work-in-progress, scrap, and labour measures
Requirements:
Experience leading CNC manufacturing operations
Background in custom machining or varied low-volume production
Ten-plus years in a related industrial operation
Lean Six Sigma, 5S, and related training
Strong people leadership and change management experience
Lead CNC production, safety, engineering coordination, and continuous improvement as Operations Manager in Greater Vancouver.
