Lean Production System Manager

Lead Maple Leaf Foods’ Lean Production System program using manufacturing expertise, performance metrics, and continuous improvement methods across the plant.
This Continuous Improvement Manager advances operational maturity across every LPS pillar. You will align initiatives with corporate strategies, coordinate deployment, and sustain improvement programs. The role requires leadership coaching, project execution, stakeholder influence, and performance analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate LPS phase progression and pillar maturation across the plant
Partner with Site Leaders to deliver targets and uphold standards
Conduct pillar health checks and identify improvement opportunities
Report LPS progress, challenges, metrics, and cross-site best practices
Lead initiatives reducing quality issues and improving overall performance
Requirements:
Minimum five years’ manufacturing experience, preferably Lean or Continuous Improvement
Hands-on knowledge of LPS frameworks and pillar-based systems
Experience leading operational excellence, optimization, and waste reduction initiatives
Ability to coach leadership teams and develop internal trainers
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Lean management tools
