Indirect Procurement Category Manager

Lead indirect procurement strategy at IPEX from Oakville, using supplier negotiation and market intelligence in a hybrid, North American role.
As Category Manager, you will develop sourcing strategies for components, finished goods, and resale products. You will partner with Operations, Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and Planning. Your work supports cost savings, working capital, supply chain performance, and procurement objectives across North America.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop category sourcing strategies and lead supplier selection
Negotiate contracts and manage strategic supplier relationships
Analyze markets, pricing, trends, performance, and supply risks
Align procurement initiatives with cross-functional business priorities
Drive savings, compliance, and working capital objectives
Requirements:
College or university education in Supply Chain Management
Certified Supply Chain Management Professional designation
Seven years progressive procurement experience minimum
Five years category management or strategic sourcing experience
ERP, procurement reporting, Excel, negotiation, and vendor management proficiency
