Project Prevailing Wage Compliance Manager

Prevailing wage compliance expertise supports Nordex’s onshore wind projects, with payroll auditing and apprenticeship oversight central to this Canada-based role.
The Project Compliance Manager, Prevailing Wage and Apprenticeship leads alignment with the Inflation Reduction Act, state regulations, and client contracts. This manager connects project management, subcontractors, payroll operations, PWA Agents, labor providers, and legal advisors. The work covers wage determinations, certified payroll, apprenticeship thresholds, contractor documentation, and regulatory reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Determine federally mandated prevailing wages for project job roles
Audit contractor payroll data for wage compliance
Track apprenticeship hours, ratios, and participation requirements
Maintain compliance records and submit required reports
Coordinate contractors, project teams, and regulatory stakeholders
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or related field
Minimum five years’ labor compliance or apprenticeship experience
Knowledge of Davis-Bacon Act and IRA provisions
Proficiency with data management and reporting software
Fluency in English and French; Spanish or German preferred
