Highway Maintenance Equipment Operator
Webber
Operate maintenance equipment for Webber in Ontario, supporting highways, surfaces, vegetation, and right-of-way assets. Use hand tools and mobile equipment safely.
Under a Field Engineer or Area Supervisor, the Seasonal Equipment Operator maintains contracted infrastructure according to contract standards. Duties include highway surface repairs, snow removal, traffic control, and equipment transport. The position requires clear English communication and changing-priority adaptability.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and repair highway surfaces and related assets
Operate tractors, graders, mowers, sweepers, and skid steers
Remove snow and ice using designated equipment
Set up and remove traffic control devices
Transport crews and equipment to work sites
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid Ontario Class G license or higher
Acceptable driving record and required training completion
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
Minimum three years related experience preferred
Bring highway maintenance, equipment operation, safety awareness, and traffic control capabilities to Webber’s Ontario field operations.
