As a Flooring Associate, you will clarify customer needs and recommend suitable products. You will drive sales through suggestive selling, product knowledge, and confident customer interactions. The work also includes quotes, material lists, order processing, promotions, safety, and resolving customer challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
Engage customers through suggestive selling and product knowledge
Clarify project needs and recommend suitable flooring solutions
Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions
Produce quotes and material lists, then follow up
Resolve customer challenges quickly and efficiently
Requirements:
Sales and customer service experience
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
High attention to detail
Ability to lift 55 pounds
Availability for rotating days, evenings, and weekends
Bring customer-focused selling, flooring recommendations, and careful follow-up to KENT’s retail building supply team.
