Construction Superintendent Safety Planning

Safety leadership and construction planning define this Project Superintendent opportunity with Conwest Contracting, supporting compliant, scheduled field operations.
In this position, you will promote Conwest Contracting’s safety culture while directing construction activities and project staff. Responsibilities span bid reviews, pre-construction meetings, work plans, schedule adjustments, subcontractor coordination, labor planning, and resource allocation. You will report operational matters to the Operations Manager and project matters to the Project Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Promote safe execution across construction sites and Conwest operations
Participate in bid reviews and pre-construction meetings
Remove schedule obstructions and adjust plans as required
Support staff with technical advice and problem resolution
Coordinate equipment and resource needs with Project Management
Requirements:
Minimum ten years’ civil construction experience
At least five years’ construction supervisory experience
Ability to lead teams and analyze construction issues
Basic understanding of Job Cost reports
Knowledge of union environments; post-secondary education is an asset
Bring proven planning, safety leadership, and construction supervision to Conwest Contracting’s project delivery teams.
