Ski and Snowboard Service Technician

Put your ski and snowboard skills to work as a Service Shop Technician at Sport Chek, servicing equipment on location for customers.
This entry-level position suits candidates with ski or snowboard shop experience and hands-on equipment knowledge. You will assess customer needs, service equipment to manufacturer specifications, and support athletes returning to “The Power of Sport”. Sport Chek helps Canadians pursue wellness through movement.
Key Responsibilities:

Assemble and disassemble different ski and snowboard types
Mount, wax, and tune skis and snowboards
Maintain snow equipment according to service requirements
Assess customer needs before servicing sporting equipment
Deliver exceptional customer experiences supporting performance targets
Requirements:

Minimum six months’ ski or snowboard shop experience
Some, intermediate, or advanced ski equipment experience
Previous experience working with skis or snowboards
High school education
Ability to work on location
Bring equipment service, customer interaction, and ski or snowboard knowledge to Sport Chek’s on-location Service Shop.
