Senior Civil Structural Engineer Hatch

Hatch is seeking a Senior Civil Structural Engineer in Sudbury to deliver engineering calculations, specifications, and reports for mining projects.
As part of Hatch’s Project Delivery Group, you will provide structural engineering services across large and small mining projects. The work includes concrete foundations, structural steel, industrial structures, and underground mining areas. You will report to the Lead Structural Engineer, Project Manager, or Engineering Manager.
Key Responsibilities:

Support project scope, cost, schedule, and delivery requirements
Promote safety, integrity, and engineering standards
Prepare technical specifications, memos, and engineering reports
Provide input to capital and engineering cost estimates
Supervise designers and junior engineering personnel
Requirements:

Degree in civil or structural engineering
Professional engineer or candidate professional engineer registration
Seven-plus years of project engineering experience
Strong planning, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Understanding of engineering codes and technical standards
Bring civil structural engineering leadership, technical documentation, and mining project experience to Hatch’s Sudbury engineering team.
