Senior Machine Learning Engineer Reddit

Build production machine learning systems at Reddit using Python, ranking, recommendations, and large-scale model deployment for millions of users.
As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, you will design systems across Reddit’s Consumer and Ads organizations. Apply deep learning, search relevance, feature engineering, and modern frameworks including PyTorch or TensorFlow. Own machine learning solutions from problem definition through training, evaluation, deployment, monitoring, and automated retraining. Partner with Product, Data Science, Infrastructure, and Engineering teams to translate complex problems into technical systems. Your work may support personalized discovery, advertising optimization, content understanding, or real-time decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and deploy production-grade machine learning systems at scale
Own modeling, feature engineering, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring
Build reliable pipelines and model serving infrastructure
Improve ranking, recommendations, search relevance, and prediction metrics
Apply deep learning, graph, transformer, and LLM techniques
Requirements:
Three to five-plus years building production machine learning systems
Strong programming skills in Python, Java, Go, or similar
Knowledge of statistical learning and deep learning architectures
Hands-on experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow
Experience designing scalable pipelines and serving infrastructure
Bring production machine learning, software engineering, and relevance expertise to Reddit’s large-scale discovery and advertising systems.
