Senior Kubernetes Test Automation Engineer

Lead Kubernetes test automation for Akamai’s Connected Cloud, using Python and Pytest to strengthen cloud platform quality and delivery confidence.
As a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test, you will help build the Golden Path cloud-native platform. Your work supports scalable, reliable, secure product delivery. You will shape quality engineering through frameworks, pipelines, automation standards, and collaboration with developers and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead test framework architecture for cloud platform features
Build continuous execution pipelines for platform testing
Shape automated quality engineering roadmaps with stakeholders
Establish automation standards and mentor junior engineers
Improve delivery stability and release confidence
Requirements:
Five years of relevant experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
Expertise building frameworks with Python and Pytest
Experience testing Kubernetes services, containers, and cloud-native technologies
Advanced networking, Linux, security, and continuous delivery knowledge
