Westfreight Systems has provided transportation services since 1989 and operates more than 100 units across five terminals. The company is seeking an Owner Operator with at least two years of highway experience, including one year operating flat or step decks. A 53-foot flat deck trailer is required; rental is available until you purchase one. You must hold a TWIC or FAST card, or be willing and able to obtain one. The work can be based in Edmonton, Calgary, Saskatoon, or Winnipeg and involves crossing the border.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate US lanes with a flat deck setup
Manage cross-border highway transportation
Use a company fuel card
Coordinate work with experienced dispatchers
Maintain safety across assigned duties
Requirements:
Class 1A Driver’s License
Two years of highway experience minimum
One year of flat or step deck experience
