Student Recruitment Outreach Advisor

Student recruitment and advising expertise meet hybrid work at Mohawk College’s Fennell campus, supporting prospective learners across communities.
Reporting to the Manager, Student Recruitment, this temporary Recruitment and Outreach Advisor advances enrolment objectives through outreach, advising, relationship building, and event coordination. The role supports prospective, returning, and current applicants with program, pathway, career, and enrolment guidance. You will collaborate with schools, community agencies, industry partners, parents, educators, and internal college services.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver targeted email campaigns, visits, presentations, panels, and outreach events
Advise applicants through enrolment using in-person and digital interactions
Coordinate school visits, information sessions, fairs, tours, and trade shows
Refer applicants to admissions, financial, accessibility, and career services
Record interactions, activities, follow-up, and reports in customized CRM software
Requirements:
Three-year postsecondary education in Marketing, Business Administration, or Communications
At least three years’ experience in postsecondary, marketing, or public-sector settings
Experience and confidence presenting promotional activities to groups
Knowledge of academic programs, pathways, admissions systems, and advising practices
Valid G driver’s licence and personal vehicle required
