Senior Power Systems Engineer

Power system analysis and electrical design define this Senior Power Systems Engineer position at Schneider. Travel to customer locations across Canada is required.
This senior engineering role supports industrial and commercial electric power systems. Apply protection coordination, short-circuit calculations, arc-flash analysis, power flow, and power quality expertise. Contribute to distribution upgrades, microgrids, site audits, customer presentations, and project proposals.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze industrial and commercial power systems
Evaluate findings and prepare recommendations and mitigation reports
Improve medium- and low-voltage distribution systems
Meet customers onsite and identify electrical needs
Provide estimates, proposals, technical support, and quality control
Requirements:
Minimum five years of power engineering or electrical design experience
Commercial or industrial project experience
Experience with proposals, development, and customer presentations
Knowledge of PTW, ETAP, EasyPower, or CYME
P.Eng. license or registration as an EIT
Bring power studies, electrical design, customer communication, and project engineering expertise to Schneider’s Canadian customer projects.
