As an Occupational Therapist I, your role will encompass providing evidence-informed services tailored to individuals, groups, or communities. You will collaborate closely with therapy assistants and other healthcare professionals to facilitate patient independence. Key Responsibilities:
• Assess patient needs and develop tailored treatment plans
• Collaborate with therapy assistants and physical therapists
• Engage clients and their families in rehabilitation processes
• Participate in interprofessional teams for quality improvement
• Provide clinical supervision to Therapy Assistants
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Registration with Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT)
• Satisfactory criminal record check
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Commitment to patient-centered care
