Coordinate construction projects with Bird as a Student Project Coordinator in Victoria, BC, using drawings, scheduling, and field coordination skills.
This eight month co-op starts in January 2027 and supports a current construction project. You will manage an assigned responsibility area independently with Supervisor and Technical Mentor support. The work includes project coordination, field verification, scheduling, quantity takeoffs, and construction documentation. Projects align with your term length and assignment.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate drawings, scopes, and trades
Review trade quotes, quantities, hours, and rates
Participate in meetings and conduct deficiency walks
Update field drawings and produce as-built drawings
Create schedules and monitor manpower productivity
Requirements:
Current enrollment in an engineering or construction program
One semester remaining after the internship
GPA of 3.0 or higher
Current transcript included with application
