Offshore Drilling Completions Supervisor

Lead offshore drilling and completions operations for Cenovus on the West White Rose Platform, applying well control and safety expertise. Work 12-hour days on a three-weeks-on, three-weeks-off rotation.
This permanent supervisor role supports SSDCI Operations and West White Rose operational readiness. You will oversee personnel, contractors, and service partners while coordinating with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, and Interventions. The position requires strong knowledge of offshore well execution, process safety, well integrity, and C-NLOER requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead safe drilling and completions operations under approved programs
Supervise offshore personnel, contractors, and service partners
Coordinate stakeholders and manage simultaneous operations
Prepare resources, equipment, procedures, and contingencies
Review reports, records, measurements, and well documentation
Requirements:
Legally authorized to work in Canada
Industry certification, technologist diploma, or engineering degree
12 years’ oil and gas experience, including five supervisory years
Offshore rig equipment and well construction experience
Emergency response, incident investigation, and safety systems experience
Apply offshore supervision, well integrity, and operational readiness expertise to Cenovus’s West White Rose drilling program.
